Tree Care

Trees are often the signature features in a landscape environment. Healthy trees have many benefits including providing shade for structures and other plants in the landscape as well as cleaning the atmosphere of carbon dioxide and adding fresh oxygen to our air. Additionally, their roots prevent soil erosion during rainstorms.

Conversely, unhealthy trees can actually become a liability and a hazard. It only makes sense to have properly trained landscape managers on your property on a regular basis. While regular visits of landscape professionals will not guarantee an incident free environment, their visits and attention will dramatically reduce the likelihood of any structural tree failure.

Proper pruning is vital to the overall health and longevity of your trees. Genetically, trees have certain dispositions and characteristics. Before any pruning device is used, it is crucial to be able to properly identify the tree species and have a working knowledge of its growth patterns in order to properly prune the tree.

General tree species knowledge is also critical prior to any staking or cabling activities. All trees are not created equal and an in depth knowledge of arboriculture is needed in order to assure optimum tree care on your site.
